This is a Modoc folktale told to Ella Clark back in 1953. It tells the tale of the Chief of the Sky spirits and how he grew tired of his home in the world above. Some would say it is another clear case that points to the sasquatch phenomenon. Either way it is fascinating and strangely familiar.
